Thank you for taking the time to visit our new website! The website launched at the end of last year, but with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we really haven't spent much time posting updates. We hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas and a great start to 2015.
So far, 2015 has been a busy year for us and we are so excited for what this year holds. Spring will be here before we know it, and the fields will need to be planted, and the hay will need to be mowed and baled. Winter is a great time to get prepared for the upcoming planting season, so there is never a dull moment around Lutmer Farms!
The renovations on the house are coming along. The house sat vacant for approximately five years. During those years of sitting vacant, pipes were stolen, the furnace didn't run, and animals inhabited the house. Slowly but surely we have been working our way to restoring the house.
Our latest project has been working on the main floor living space. All the walls in the house were covered with wall paper. We've been able to go through and remove all the wall paper and start painting some of the rooms. Currently, we are working on the home office/study and the master bedroom.
We will be sure to post pictures of the process along the way. It's such a unique home and we love to share our journey with you.
We'd like to take a moment and let you know about some upcoming events that we will be attending or hosting. We hope to see you there!

Warren County Farm Bureau hosts the Farmer's Share Breakfast at the Lebanon High School Cafeteria, 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM Only one dollar for made to order omelets, pancakes, sausage and choice of drinks.
This is a community service event for the general public to interact with farms and 4H members while enjoying a breakfast costing about what farmers receive for the meat, eggs, cheese, grain and milk that go into each breakfast.
Your family and friends can enjoy this once a year Warren County Farm Bureau breakfast also. Last year we served 746 breakfasts. This year we will feature horse and goat clubs but all 4H clubs are welcome to set up a display at no cost.
Many agricultural and 4H displays are planned. Visit the Warren County Farm Bureau website for more information.
